Awards for Innovation and Enterprise
September 2009: As part of the Shell Step Scheme the students had to create and deliver presentations in a bid to be selected as the most enterprising student in the South West and to go onto the UK finals of Shell Step in London. All of our students excelled with Sebastian coming 3rd in the students competition and Samantha coming 1st in the graduate competition within the South West. The project was described as both 'enterprising' and 'innovative' and we at Wilson Pym May are glad to have been a part of this.
Shell Step 2009
September 2009: The Shell Step Scheme, run countrywide, places graduates and students in small to medium sized enterprises. Wilson Pym May took on 1 student and 2 graduates as part of this scheme to help with a new contract. Kyle, Sebastian and Samantha all worked together as part of the GIS team and the scheme has been a huge success. We have been able to expand further as well as gain a key insight into the skills available from graduates and students. We are looking at the possibility of utilising the scheme again in future years.
